LeadEdge Flexo has retained ISO 9001:2015 accreditation following its latest review, demonstrating its continued commitment to innovation, quality, and customer satisfaction.
ISO 9001:2015 is the international Quality Management System (QMS) standard that ensures organisations are routinely and systematically putting efficiency and quality at the heart of operations. LeadEdge has held this accreditation since 2014, underscoring its dedication to operational excellence and its mission to continually push the printing industry forward in new ways.
Michael Owen, Managing Director, LeadEdge, commented, “The QMS accreditation is more than a certificate to hang in the production office. In an industry where precision and excellence are paramount, achieving ISO 9001:2015 accreditation once again is a testament to our unwavering commitment to quality, and the hard work of our team. A comprehensive audit has shown areas that our processes are shining, as well as giving us areas we can build on and further improve. The ISO certification we have retained reinforces our position as a trusted partner in the flexo supply chain. It shows that while we are always seeking to push the boundaries of what’s possible in printing through material and process innovation, it will never be at the cost of quality, efficiency or performance.”
A key player in the corrugated and flexographic printing supply chains, LeadEdge develops and supplies a comprehensive range of innovative products and services to prepress trade shops and printers. The company’s diverse product range includes plate mounting materials, carriers, clichés and consumables. A highlight of the range is the newly launched cbak evolve™ closed cell foam mounting material. In a major step forward for printing industry sustainability, cbak evolve replaces 30% of fossil-based materials with plant-based biorenewable alternatives, while retaining high levels of press performance.
Owen added, “We’re on a mission to change the printing supply chain for the better, and that begins with ourselves. To be ISO 9001 accredited, we must continuously prove adherence to the seven core principles of customer focus, leadership, workplace performance-based structuring, process optimisation, continual improvement, data-based decision-making and mutually beneficial supplier relations. With the accreditation, our customers get added confidence in the quality of our business, and the service they receive from our team.”
