We are sad to report the untimely and tragic death of Hessel Hoekstra, Field Service Manager of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries EMEA Ltd’s Corrugating Machinery business at the end of January 2024. He was 58 years old.
Hoekstra had been working with MHI EMEA for the last 12 years, during which time he forged close friendships with colleagues and customers alike.
“Hessel was a great manager and a really important person within our team. He was well liked by customers all around the world, due to his ‘can do’ attitude and always being available. He was also a very positive person, with his smile lighting up the room, no matter where he was. Our sincere condolences are sent to his family and friends at this very difficult time,” said K.
