It has been reported that Lemit Papers has successfully started-up board production on its new board machine at its greenfield mill in Morbi, India.
The new machine, which started commercial trials in September, started running commercially in early December. The machine, which produces white and grey coated duplex board from 200 to 450gsm, can produce around 160,000 tonnes per year. As well as serving the domestic market, the company will export to the Middle East, Europe and U.S.A.
