India-based Innova Printing and Packaging has seen production of its in-demand micro-flute corrugated boxes double after installing a new BOBST AMBITION folder-gluer. This is the second Bobst machine that the company has invested in, having installed a NOVACUT die-cutter recently.
“Initially, the target market was for smaller runs of folding cartons, but micro-flute corrugated boxes are proving to be the fastest-growing product for the company,” explained Akash Pabbi, Director, Innova.
The Ambition A2 folder-gluer is able to handle carton board up to 800gsm and corrugated board in E, F and N flute. It can produce straight line as well as crash-lock bottom boxes at a maximum speed of up to 300m/min.
