Giovanni Bettini, Sales Director, MHI EMEA, has confirmed the company recently received an order for a four colour EVOL 100 flexo folder gluer from Gotek Group of Russia. The majority of the meetings were held during the RosUpack exhibition in June, with the official order being completed in August. The new casemaker will be installed at Gotek’s Zheleznogorsk facility, south-west of Moscow, in October 2022.
“We are delighted to receive this order from Gotek Group, particularly as this is the second order from them this year,” says Bettini. “Earlier in the spring, the company placed an order with us for a corrugator wet-end upgrade, which includes a 60H Belted Single Facer and MRS splicers; these machine units will be installed and commissioned in February 2022. We now have over 500 Paser Single Facers installed around the world, making it one of the most successful Belted Single Facers on the market. Mitsubishi has been manufacturing Belted Single Facers for over 30 years and the volume of installations is testament to its reliability and the fact it is best in class.”
Bettini concludes, “The EVOL which is going to be installed in the final quarter of next year, will be the seventh machine of its type in Russia. We are grateful to Gotek Group for continuing to put their trust in Mitsubishi.”
