Alex Steinmüller of SCS GmbH has confirmed the successful startup of an Emmepi strapping centre at Lübecker Industrie Service GmbH in Lübeck, Germany.
This fully automatic line recognises all incoming pallets and pile structures and decides which strapping-process is best. The strapping centre is equipped with three lances and a turning cross. “The output of this new line is significantly higher and offers more strapping possibilities compared to the line it replaced at L.I.S.,” confirms Steinmüller.
Mr Fanizzi, owner, L.I.S. GmbH, said, “Having seen the enormous output of this line, we should have purchased the Emmepi strapping centre much earlier! Our new Emmepi shows perfect performance and eliminates our output bottleneck. Emmepi also adjusted the strap width type from 12mm to 9mm, as we prefer to use the narrower banding.”
