With the creation of its Asian sales branch, CONTROL-ING® Laminators is now becoming an interesting partner in the world market for litho laminator lines, thanks to the great potential of sales in that region.
Control-ing Taiwan is taking care of sales in the whole Asian territory with their own manufacturing facility, where machines will be built under licence of Control-ing Spain, especially adapted to the particular local market requirements.
Another important step that took place recently and that will take care of Control-ing on the other side of the world is the sales agreement with Manroland Sheetfed Latina. From now, Manroland Sheetfed Latina will take care of marketing and sales in the territory for all laminator models, as well as taking care of installation and maintenance of the supplied machinery.
During the second half of 2020, Control-ing carried out a complete upgrade of an existing Control-ing sheet to sheet laminator in Germany. The upgrade means that the line is now able to do both sheet to sheet and reel to sheet jobs. Not only will this line be able to run extra long sheets of up to 2050 mm in length, this line will also be able to laminate plastic sheets thanks to an in-line tunnel microwave oven that can be inserted between the glue applicator unit and the laminating section.
In the same company where this upgrade took place, there is also a Control-ing in-line laminator equipped with a doublewall gluing system that produces flat board thanks to the special low grammage glue application system. This machine can be seen at any time and has been running successfully for six years already.
