DS Smith and Esepac partner for packaging education

DS Smith Packaging France has recently entered into a three-year partnership with the European School of Packaging (Esepac) in Saint-Germain-Laprade (Haute-Loire). Through this education, students will be able to deepen their knowledge and acquire operational skills in processing techniques for packaging.

“It is a win-win partnership for both parties, because the skills acquired will correspond to the expectations of companies,” said Serge German, Director of the ‘school-company’ of packaging.

CEO of DS Smith Packaging France, Thibault Laumonier hopes that this is an opportunity to strengthen the links between the professional world and schools specialising in these trades. “We are proud to be able to contribute to the teaching and to the development of many common projects for the benefit of students and their teachers. I am convinced that in return, this partnership will provide us with new expertise and a fresh look at our development axes, Laumonier said.

Created in 1991 at the initiative of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) of Haute-Loire and the University of Clermont Auvergne, Esepac welcomes 160 students each year.
