The Klingele Paper & Packaging Group launched the fundraising campaign “100 Years for One Another” in its anniversary year 2020, and donated around €50,000 to people and projects in Germany, the Netherlands, the mainland Spain and the Canary Islands.
One hundred projects were to be supported in the 100th anniversary year – over 110 projects were actually supported with between €150 and €500 each. For this purpose, employees of the Group have submitted suggestions for donation projects from their private environment, their club life or non-profit organizations. Youth welfare, social affairs, health, animal welfare, education, sport – projects from very different areas received a commitment, all of this in various locations from East Frisia to Tenerife.
The Klingele Paper & Packaging Group enabled its employees to do good in their environment. The patron of the fundraising campaign is Fiona Klingele, the sister of the Managing Partner Jan Klingele. She is pleased with the variety of ideas and the trust the employees have in the management. She said, “With the support of our employees, we may not have been able to move the world, but we have helped many people. Our heartfelt thanks for that!”
