Komori Corporation has confirmed its decision to cancel its participation at Drupa, due to the ongoing concerns over the spread of COVID-19.
“The comprehensive decision to suspend our participation at the exhibition has been made in response to the continuing threat of the coronavirus and its serious impact to the economy of both the developed and emerging countries,” explains Satoshi Mochida, President and CEO. “Taking into consideration the potential risks of a second or third surge of the pandemic, we have to put the highest priority in securing the health and safety of our global customers as well as our employees.”
He continues, “While an extremely unusual circumstance prevents Komori from participating at Drupa, our plan is to launch an array of new products and services, through open house events and active participations at regional exhibitions. New information will also be released utilising various media such as corporate websites, information and video distribution service using emails or SNS, online exhibitions and webinars.”
