BCM Inks has had its digital overprint varnish approved by HP. The 8869HP overprint varnish is running successfully on HP’s single pass digital press, the PageWide C500 press. The 8869HP OPV is a fast drying water based eco-friendly product. It provides exceptional gloss, impressive rub resistance and fantastic slip resistance.
“Our R&D team responded to the challenge to develop an extraordinary product for the HP PageWide C500 single pass digital press,” states Robert Callif, President of BCM Inks. “Even though our main business is focused on traditional flexo printing for the corrugated industry, we responded to our customers’ request for a digital overprint varnish that performs as well or better than our standard water flexo OPV. We realize digital print is a compliment to direct print flexo.
