Fyne Harrier for Cartonnage St Martin

Just before the Coronavirus outbreak, a new Harrier boxmaking machine manufactured by Fyne Packaging Ltd of Leighton Buzzard, was installed at a leading contract packer in Grenoble, France, in order to be able to produce custom-made boxes just as they become needed.

Cartonnage St Martin supply bespoke packaging to the local electronics industry, who require shock-proof packs in a wide variety of sizes in order to ship parts worldwide to the critical industries they serve. These packs use an inner lining composed of a variety of reusable and de-compostable materials, within a sturdy corrugated box used as an outer.

Romain Cloitre, Managing Director of Cartonnage St Martin, explains, “The Harrier Boxmaker will make the retention of large stocks of boxes no longer necessary, as we will now be able to produce exact sized boxes in a variety of FEFCO styles, just when they are wanted.”

Philippe Berland (Fyne’s Agent in France ) congratulates Peggy Compagnot (Operator) on passing her training.
